Vertigo Dizziness Examination

Consultation	1) Medical Interview (about vertigo / condition of whole body) 2) with Specialists of Internal Medicine, Neurosurgery, Otolaryngology (ENT)
Ear	Equilibrium function test / audiometry test (hearing) / inner-ear function test
Brain	Brain MR / Electroencephalography (EEG)
Eye	Examination by a Ophthalmology doctor
Neck	Check for neck lesions (simple X ray / MR)
Others	Blood Test / electrocardiogram / autonomic nerve function test / psychological test

The examination protocol may be changed depending on symptoms or test results.
Since many of the vertigo tests are physiological function tests, the patient needs some rest after undergoing the test. To prevent the decrease of accuracy of test due to fatigue of the patient, 2 – 3 visits are required.

Headache Outpatient Service

Headache is one of the two common and major neurological diseases along with vertigo.
The purpose of the headache outpatient service is to meet the needs of the patients who is suffering from headache.

The causes of headache may vary. However, if life-threatening worrisome headache resulted from subarachnoid hemorrhage or brain tumor cancer is excluded, the headache can be categorized into two types, migraine and muscle contraction headache. And in many cases, those two are overlapped.

Especially, migraine is a kind of headache which interferes with daily life due to the pain, however some silver bullets have been developed recently. We will comprehensively examine your body, including checking eye strain, stress levels, and stiffness of neck / shoulders. We hope we can be your help for treatment and prevention of headache by providing appropriate medical treatment based on the test results.

If you are worried about headache, the medical examination is recommended as headache may be mitigated just by finding out that there is no serious brain disease.
